A/n: This is a Male!Reader x Male character story.

Katsuki (Kacchan) P.O.V
Finally hero training was about to start. It had been canceled for half of last week since those villains attacked. Now I could show these losers how much I’ve improved in just one week and leave their jaws hanging as I leave them all in my dust. I even have the perfect way to do that now thanks to the teachers.

(F/n) (L/n), the most famous young villain in the last few years. He was strong enough to take down two entire hero agencies single handedly and could only be taken down by the number 2 hero, Endeavor. If today we get to fight each other again I’ll make sure I’m the one who fights him. The class has an odd number of students now so I just have to volunteer to be the one to take him on.

Once I beat him and show that I can do what only the best could, I’ll prove how powerful I am and also put him in his place with just one fight. I watched his rampage from last year dozens of times, even if I don’t fully understand how his quirk works I still know how he uses it. Prisons do all they can to keep quirks under control so I doubt he’s had any training with them since he was locked up.

As usual, All Might came and asked us to get our costumes on so we could start our basic training lesson. After I finished changing all I could do was wait in the gym. Everyone started talking to help pass the time until All Might showed up. I glanced over to (L/n) expecting him to be all alone, but of course one loser attracts another. That nerd Deku and a few other idiots were already being friendly around him.

“You shouldn’t glare at him like that, Bakugou.” That stuck up ice bastard Todoroki said, walking up to me.

“I’ll look at whatever I want. Besides, it’s normal to keep an eye on the new student right? Especially if it’s someone the whole schools been talking about.” I told him.

“We all agreed to give him a chance so don’t go picking a fight with him just to show off. All it would do is make you look like the bully while him an innocent victim.” The whole time the bastard was lecturing me he was looking off at (L/n) with an interested look in his eyes.

“Who do you think you’re talking to, huh?! Don’t go talking to me like that while you can’t keep your eyes off him either!” The bastard thinks he can talk to me like I’m some idiot?
“The last thing I want to do is fight (L/n). I’m keeping my eye on him for a completely different reason.” He said trying to sound mysterious, as if I care why he’s watching him. As long as I’m the first student to fight him that’s all that matters.

I thought it all through, I don’t have to pick a fight with (L/n) anyway. As long as I wait for the right training exercise I can get away with anything. I can’t let anyone fight him before me, I don’t want to get a reputation of being some avenger of the weak. I’ll be the vanguard that defeats the problem before anyone gets involved.

Reader P.O.V
Now that All Might was here everyone was excited to start the day’s hero training. Like everyone else I was eager to use my quirk, maybe even a little more than the others. Since I haven’t been able to use my quirk in months. Ever since I was arrested I was kept away from as much metal as possible so that I couldn’t use my magnetism as well as having to wear a custom made insolated prison uniform to cancel out my electrical powers. Finally being able to use my quirk again was like getting back a part of me that I had almost forgotten.

“All right then, everyone suit up and head over to gym C.” All might said, as he pressed a button and the wall opened up to show numbered cases holding everyone’s costumes.

I got my case and followed the other boys into the locker room to change. Everyone’s costume was amazing to see, they each had their own style and some of them already had equipment to assist them. I slid my sports suit like costume on then strapped on my boots and gloves, I didn’t pull up my mask or my hood since I thought it was unnecessary for training.

Although they were similar the new suit I had gotten from the school was bit bigger then my old one from my time as a villain. As I tried to fix it, I felt a bit depressed at how little I had grown since last year. Still this gave me a chance to give the new suit a closer look before heading out to the gym. Having my costume blue with bright silver rather than the original black and dark metals really did make a difference and like something only a hero would wear.

The gym was as big as a stadium and everyone was gathered around the center waiting for All Might.

“Wow, (F/n)-kun your costume is so cool!” Midoriya said running up to me.

“Really? Thanks, I was scared that not changing my look would make people still see me as a villain, but I couldn’t come up with another design… plus I always thought I looked good in this even if I was doing something bad.” I said, feeling a bit embarrassed and wishing I had pulled my mask up to cover up my face.

“I think it’s great, this way you can show people what a great hero you’ve become even if you were a villain in the past.” He said, smiling widely at me that his green eyes closed.

“Whoa, (F/n) that’s such a great costume! Even if it’s just a color change you still look super good in it!” Kaminari said coming up to us.

“Yeah, it’s one thing to see it one the news but to see it in real life is pretty awesome.” Kirishima added, walking with him.

“Heh, all this time I thought they were muscles, but their just padding.” Ojiro said, leaning in to take a close look at my arms and making everyone else examine me closer.

“Y-yeah, it’s the same design from before so they kept them in for me.” I told him, lifting my up to show them properly.

It was a bit strange having some of the other boys around looking at my costume, that I almost started shaking from how nervous I was. What made even more anxious was when they started tapping the parts that were covered in silver.

“Wow, it’s actual metal. I thought it was just painted differently.” Kaminari said, leaning in close to my shoulder, where he was taping a few times.

“Hey, you’re right. Man, (F/n) you must have one hell of a punch with something like this.” Kirishima said picking up my hand to look at the silver around my knuckles.

It was starting to be more than I could handle that I had to keep my face down to hide how flustered I was getting at having the four of them so close and touching me.

“Hey Midoriya, Kirishima. Look at this he has a mouth guard just like you guys.”  Ojiro said, reaching for the gasmask folded around my neck.

He was careful as he pulled it out from under my chin to show them. I didn’t think I’d get this nervous before the actual training started. I was screaming inside my head so loud with everything that was happening that I almost completely forgot about hero training.

“Oh, you’re right Ojiro. It even has some metal on the edges too.” Midoriya said passing his fingers on the mask to feel the fabric.

“I didn’t know it was gas mask, that’s awesome! I just have mine on to make me look cooler and I don’t think Midoriya’s has any function either, but yours is actually to keep you safe. You’re really smart huh, (F/n)?” Kirishima asked eagerly as he felt the small circular filters on one of the cheeks.

“Damn I didn’t think stuff like that would be so popular I should have come up with something even if it was just for show.” Kaminari sighed as he crossed his arms.

“I know right?” Ojiro agreed letting go of the mask leaving Midoriya and Kirishima to hold it.

“Um… y-your costumes are really cool though.” I told them, stammering a bit from how flustered I still was.

“Heh, you think so? I was afraid mine would be too plain.” Ojiro said.

“I wanted to keep mine simple too, but now I think I might not get noticed as much as I want.” Kaminari admitted lifting up the collar of his jacket and looking at me, waiting for me to say something.

“Yeah, but I think simple things are better in the end. As long as you guys can use your powers the way you want that means what you’re wearing is fine, right” I told them a bit unsure if they understood what I was saying.

“Haha, that’s right (F/n) as long as they don’t hold us back and we can use our quirks to be heroes, it doesn’t matter what we wear.” Kaminari chuckled.

Even though I was still nervous I was happy that I was getting along with everyone even though it was my first day in their class.

While I was still talking to them All Might came in through the main door. To my surprise he took out a few flash cards and started reading off them. I guess everyone gets nervous doing something new even the great symbol of peach has trouble teaching.

“Ahem. Today we’ll be having one vs one sparing matches.” He said after clearing his throat. Everyone seemed surprised at the announcement. “You have been in the same class for a week now and after everything you’ve all been through I believe you all have at least some sense of what each of your classmates are capable of at this point. That’s why this is to train not only what you have observed of your fellow heroes but also how you each handle yourselves in combat.”

“Will we be paired up against each other by raffle or will you personally decide who fights who?” Iida asked raising his hand speaking out of full body armor.

“How badly are we allowed to hurt our opponents?” Bakugo asked bluntly.

“Can we pass on our fight if we don’t want to fight who we’re put up against?” Mineta asked trembling looking at some of the students.

“Would you all please let me finish?” All Might asked holding back from yelling at anyone. “These are the rules for today’s exercise: You and your opponent will be fighting in a rink, you win if you can get your opponent to surrender, bind them with the capture tape or knock them out of the rink.”

All Might’s explanation made it clear that even if you weren’t as strong as whoever you were fighting you could still win by trapping them or out smarting them.

“Young (L/n).” He looked over at me and called me out. “Since you have yet to see anyone else’s quirk I want you to wait until everyone has gone then you’ll go up against whoever still has enough strength for another fight. Is that all right with you?” he asked.

“Yeah, th-that’s fine.” I answered. It actually worked out fine for me to fight someone who was already tired and hopefully not at full strength until I got I handle of my quirk again.

One by one each of my new classmates were paired up and set to fight against each other. Most of them won by trapping the other while only a few actually fought to see which was strongest.

Of course a few stood out more than others. Midoriya fought against one of the students I hadn’t talked to yet, Sero. Midoriya was able to win by punching the floor of the rink while still tied to one of Sero’s tapes then he simply swung him until he flew out of rink. Though like he told me before, his quirk’s drawback left his entire hand bruised and maybe even broken. Each fight was amazing not only because of the quirks being used but how they were used in such creative ways. Finally after everyone had had their match it was my turn.

“Right then, any volunteers for another match?” All Might asked putting his hands on my shoulders.

Everyone looked exhausted so it didn’t surprise me that it took a while for someone to come up.

“I can go another round no sweat!” It was Midoriya’s friend, Bakugou.

He definitely looked ready to fight, even though he won by getting his opponent to surrender.

“Good on you, young Bakugou. But please remember this a fight to see how you each react to each other’s attack so don’t either of you aim for a one hit K.O.” All Might said as lifted up the ropes of the rink to let us both in.

I started thinking of how to handle his explosions but each time I had to cancel my plans when I remembered I wasn’t allowed to use any metal outside of the rink to fight. So that only left me with the metal I brought in with me.

“Begin!” All Might shouted as he rang the bell.

“Ready or not here I come!” he shouted as he over to me, his right hand reaching out for me.

I fell backwards to avoid his explosion. I was able to avoid the blast but heat was still too close to call it safe.

“Too slow!” I heard him yell as I saw his other hand come from below me.

Just before he could ignite his palm I used my magnetic quirk to roll me to the side while still in between both his hands. I barely dodged the blast again but still hadn’t taken any damage.

“Hahaha, man that was scary!” I laughed I stood back up and brushed some dust off my clothes. “Well, I guess it’s my turn.” I said smiling calmly.

I used my magnetism to carry my body again this time to take me behind Bakugou. This was one of the best defenses I had back against the pro heroes. It was much easier to dodge since I could move metal to take me high in the sky and any other direction I needed to go. Though I couldn’t use this for long since it was easy for me to get dizzy by tossing myself around. As soon as I landed I used my other quirk and shocked his shoulder dropping him to his knees.

“Oops, I’m really sorry Bakugou. It’s been a long time since I used my electricity, I guess I used I higher voltage than I should have.” I said, honestly apologizing with a smile.

“Damn you.” he growled, looking up at me. His eye flaring with rage. “As if a little shock like that would keep me down!” He jumped back up with his other arm coming up at me.

When the explosion went off it was still a meter away from me. I could see the surprise on his face, wondering why he set off his blast before he reached me. When the smoke from his explosion cleared up he saw what I had done.

“Where… where did that come from?” he asked seeing a silver ball in his hand.

“You set off you blast when you felt something touch your hand right? Well sorry, but that wasn’t my head you grabbed onto, but just a decoy!” I said cheerfully.

“I asked you where this damn thing came from you bastard!” he roared as jumped to his feet. “You don’t have any pockets so where did it come from?!”

I looked around and saw everyone including All Might was confused. To what I did.

“Well, look like I messed up. My bad.” I sighed as I jumped onto one of the ropes. “Sorry Bakugou, but I’m gonna need more time to get used to my powers again before I can fight properly.” I turned to him and waved before jumping off the rope and out of the rink. “Um All might sir, I don’t feel comfortable using my quirk after all so… I surrender.” I told him raising my hand up and smiled.

“YOU WHAT!?” Everyone shouted at once, it was so loud that I had to cover my ears.

“Like hell, I’ll let you! Get back here and finish this fight and tell me where this damn ball came from!” Bakugou shouted as he threw the ball at me.

“Oh that’s easy.” I grabbed the ball in midair easily. “I made it myself.” As I said, I used my electricity to heat up the silver ball, melting it and then controlled the metal to return to my costume.

Everyone started gathering around me too take a closer look at what I had done. Bakugou on the other hand was still in the rink, shouting and cursing at how I left the match. I started to feel a bit guilty for leaving him like that, but it was better this until I got used to my powers again.

“Good work today everyone. Tomorrow we’ll take a look at each of your fights and see where each of you can improve.” All Might said dismissing the class.

With that, my first day at Yuuei ended. I said goodbye to my friends as they left the campus and then headed to the dorm room that the school had set up for me.
I don't own Boku no Hero Academia or the image just the story.

Made it a bit longer then I wanted, but I just wanted to add some more characters other than Izuku.
Let me know if you guys want this story to have Lemon scenes or not.
